  1. I grew up with homemade ACV – mom peeled/cored her apples (well, my sister and I did!!!) and sometimes the peels/cores were used for ACV. As a kid, I detested ACV because it was a daily tonic for us! I don’t recall how it was made (the tonic) but it was heavy on ACV.

A few years ago, I received a free book from Bragg’s on all the uses of ACV along with a number of recipes.

A while back, I recall reading that Bragg’s was sold to a bigger company so I am not sure what the quality is now. The article I read didn’t think the quality was as good as it was when Bragg’s was making it. Makes me wonder!! But I have used other brands that are unfiltered (most say “with the Mother”). Anyway – vinegar is a very very beneficial liquid to have in any household.

    1. Hi Leanne, that is one thing I never had as a child. That’s interesting it was a daily tonic for you as a child. I’ve heard really good things about it. I hadn;t heard Bragg’s was sold, good to know. You are right vinegar should be in every household. Linda

  2. I always found ACV the quickest way to relieve leg cramps. I often wake up in the middle of the night with leg cramps, and a shot of ACV works very fast.
