What Is A Stick Blender?
A stick blender, often called an immersion blender, is a kitchen blending tool that is shaped much like a stick. The immersion aspect is because you dip the stick into the liquid ingredients to be blended. It can take the place of a food processor or regular blender, particularly for blending a small amount in a hurry with less cleanup. It is used to make smoothies, milkshakes, and to puree soups with any of the attachments that come with it. Its size and very portable nature make it a fun blender choice, particularly when you want to keep appliances in a drawer and off your countertop.

Linda,
While I occasionally use my blender for shakes, I mostly use it for Margaritas. (Which is to say it rarely gets used). But now that I’ve read your list I may start using it for other things.
Hi Ray, now I have the Margarita song going in my head! LOL! I can’t remember who sang it. Now I have the giggles, life is so good! Linda
They also make excellent frozen rum daiquiris in addition to the already mentioned margaritas. LOL!
Hi Harry, oh my gosh, Texas sold Margaritas at all the Mexican restaurants when I would fly to see my sister. LOL! That doesn’t happen in Utah! I still have that Margarita song in my head! It was a guy singing it but I can’t remember his name. Life is so good! Linda
HI Harry, now I remember the song, “Margaritaville by Jimmy Buffett”, that’s the song that is in my brain now. Love it! Linda
