The Best Granola Recipes In The World
Here are some of the best granola recipes in the world, I promise. I love making granola from scratch over buying the ready-made. It’s fresh and I know what the ingredients are. I must confess, if I have some candy-like, M & M’s in the house I may or may not throw a handful into some of these granola recipes below, just saying.
I love grabbing a handful and eating a few morsels of all of these granola recipes. Here’s the deal, you can add Craisins, raisins, different nuts, chocolate chips or extra shredded coconut. Man, this is making me so hungry, I need to grab a bowl and make some in the morning. Sure, having lots of sweets added may not make these the healthiest for you, but the base ingredients are really good for you.
You might even consider leaving the sweet stuff out, that’s ok, the granola will still taste great and make for a pleasant treat. Try some granola in place of buttered popcorn, chips and salsa, cookies and other between meals food. Give these recipes a try, you’ll be glad you did!
Let me know what you put in your granola and I will start a list of add-ons to our granola recipes below. Please note iI store my granola in airtight containers like OXO containers or quart jars. My gf who is a personal trainer came up with the BEST recipe that’s also healthy. It doesn’t have any added fat, i.e., oils of any kind & it’s made with pure maple syrup. None of your listed recipes are near similar to hers. It really is the BEST.
Wow, I am going to have to try and make my granola recipes with maple syrup, sounds wonderful! Great tip! Linda
Perfect timing, Linda–our family is going on a looong RV trip next week, and I was wanting to bring some granola to snack on! BTW, if people think theirs is better, they should provide a recipe so we can compare 🙂
HI Roxanne, ooh I love hearing you’re going on a long RV trip. Enjoy your trip and the granola, drive safe! Hugs! Linda
