How to Make Buffalo Chicken Bacon Sandwiches
Now, I can’t just show you a delicious dish like this and not give you the recipe. I’m going to walk you through this recipe step by step and it’s going to be delicious! You’ll want to bring this dish with you everywhere you go and everyone will love it. Buffalo Chicken Bacon Sandwiches are a favorite for my grandkids and my husband Mark!
Step One
Start by placing your chicken breasts with one cup of water in your Instant Pot®. Turn the valve to sealing, and cook on HIGH pressure for 10 minutes. Let it pressure release for about 10 minutes naturally, while you prepare other ingredients.
Step Two
Remove chicken, ensure it is cooked through, drain fat and water from the Instant Pot®. Shred chicken with a fork and place back into your Instant Pot®.
Step Three
The next step is to add the Hot Sauce on top of the shredded chicken. Now, this is where you decide how “hot” you want your Buffalo Chicken Bacon Sandwiches to be. If you would rather use BBQ sauce, then use that instead of the hot sauce.
Step Four
Now, add the cream cheese and bacon pieces.
Step Five
Add the cheese and ranch mix. Stir until well combined. Place the lid back on. If cheese is not melting then place the lid back on and keep warm for another 3 minutes.
Step Six
Here is the finished product, ready to serve and enjoy for dinner.
Step Seven
You can toast the regular hamburger buns or the onion hamburger buns shown below and scoop the mixture on them.

Natural Release Vs Quick Release
Most recipes will tell you whether or not to use a natural release or the quick release on your Instant Pot. However, if it doesn’t, here is how you can know:
Natural Release: This type of release is for tougher cuts of meat, recipes with high starch like rice or grains, or recipes that require a lot of liquid.
Quick Release: You will use the quick release for delicate cuts of meat, vegetables, seafood, chicken breasts, and steaming.
If you are using the quick release on your Instant Pot, you will want to place a towel over the valve and use a wooden spoon to manually turn the valve from seal to vent. The towel will help prevent you from getting steam in your face.
