Organize Your Freezer

You may be thinking about your freezer storage, I have you covered there. You can buy freezer bags and lay them flat or add reusable freezer containers. If you have a slow cooker that is awesome, but not necessary. Here’s the small slow cooker I have: 3-1/2 Quart Slow Cooker Any size works, but a smaller one works for us.

What’s nice about prepping meals ahead of time, you never have to think about what’s for dinner TONIGHT. Make a mental note to pull a bag or container from the freezer the night before and place it in the refrigerator for dinner the next day. Hooray, dinner is ready to cook and the prepping is already done. Choose a meal for a slow cooker, a soup pot, a pressure cooker, or something to barbecue. Life is so good, right?

Tips For Prepping Freezer Meals

I would start with a chopping board and a good knife. Be sure and use separate ones for all the meats. No need to cross-contaminate during our meal prep. Remember you can pick and choose a few meals to make each week. You may want to start small with two to three meals in bags or containers. That’s two or three meals ready to cook or bake! Yay!
