Peanut Butter Chocolate Bars
This peanut butter chocolate bars recipe is the best! When you combine peanut butter and chocolate, what’s not to love, right? It’s crunchy, sweet, and chewy topped with some chocolate frosting.
This recipe is from a very special friend, named Gabby. This is her mother’s recipe and she helped me make it today. It’s so fun to cook or bake in the kitchen with family and friends. It’s all about making memories together.
It’s that time of year when we are getting together with family and friends and this recipe is the perfect treat to take to parties. It’s also a wonderful treat to take to family reunions.
I asked my family what they think of when eating these bars. My daughter mentioned it reminded her of the delicious peanut butter bars they served at the cafeteria in elementary school. Isn’t it funny what we remember from our youth!
Mark mentioned that whenever he has anything peanut butter-related he thinks back to a paper he wrote in his youth about George Washington Carver. I hadn’t ever heard of him, but Mark explained he was a black American agricultural scientist who invented dozens of products using peanuts, including 105 recipes. Check out his history on Wikipedia, it’s pretty interesting.

Final Word
I hope you try making these chocolate peanut butter bars, let me know if you do. I love hearing from you. Please keep prepping, stay safe. May God Bless this world, Linda
I can make these for my family and make a batch with marshmallow cream for myself. I can’t stand peanut butter. I like peanuts but I don’t like any nut butter. Don’t know what it is about nut butter but It makes me sick. Peanuts are one of three nuts that I can eat (4 if you count coconut) Peanuts. Walnuts, and Cashews anything thing else makes my throat swell shut. Not a good feeling. Now these would taste good with marshmallow, coconut and chocolate minus the peanut butter would it not? I love tweaking Recipes so I can eat them.
Hi Jackie, thank you for the 5 stars, my sweet friend! Now, I want to make it with marshmallow cream and coconut! That sounds so good! I love it, Linda
Linda,
These sound great. I’ll ask Jane to make some.
Hi Ray, they are so good, but they make a lot. Take some to neighbors or freeze them. Or cut the recipe in half!! Thank you for the 5 stars, my friend. Linda
